I have during 2004 experienced Genevieve's healing work in the form of shamanic soul-retrieval processes. You showed me a way of living and feeling that I doubt I would have ever discovered without you. The wisdom that you showed me has stayed with me and guided me through the last ten years of my life, however I may have twisted and wriggled and for long periods shut off and shut down. Your lessons have shown me over and over again the path that I needed to follow. I have not followed it every time. I have followed it relatively infrequently to be honest. But I have always had that chink of light, that unquenchable gift that I attribute to you. I think that I am only now beginning perhaps to open my heart and my soul to the light, and to living in reality and honesty and simple sanity, but any beautiful certainties that I now feel about the world, about my self, about people, relationships and life, have grown from seeds planted by you so many years ago. For this, I am eternally grateful to you. Thank you so much. I have no idea what I might be now, had I never come into your world. I am tearful just imagining that dark world where nothing means anything. I now have an ever growing suspicion that peace is just beside me waiting for me to step into it. But all I wanted to say at the moment is that I know what you gave me and I believe it to be perhaps the most generous and important gift that I will ever receive.

Genevieve was the celebrant for our wedding in February 2001. We already had a lot of ideas about how we wanted our ceremony to be, and Genevieve worked in with everything that we wanted really well - as well as adding in many suggestions which made a uniquely positive difference. Having had more experience with ceremony than we, she helped us to mould our ideas into what became a wonderfully intimate and beautiful celebration of our love and commitment to each other. We wanted a ceremony that really spoke of the essence of us, and we got that.

Another thing we both valued was the way in which Genevieve prepared the space for us before we arrived (both blessing the space and preparing our guests - bringing them into alignment with the purpose of the ceremony); and her present ness throughout the ceremony. We did some memorable chanting together in the forest, and to this day, the forest feels 'different to me now - I can still feel a connection to Mother Nature and her spirit(s) that I had not felt there previous to the chanting. I have always had a strong connection to Nature, and often 'feel' and 'see' Nature Devas, and I feel that I have opened that up even more now.
